{"id":276,"date":"2010-03-21T13:15:30","date_gmt":"2010-03-21T17:15:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tracishupertphotography.com\/?p=276"},"modified":"2010-03-21T13:18:48","modified_gmt":"2010-03-21T17:18:48","slug":"ready-or-not-here-i-come-newborn-photography-traci-shupert-photography","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tracishupertphotography.com\/blog\/ready-or-not-here-i-come-newborn-photography-traci-shupert-photography\/","title":{"rendered":"Ready or Not, Here I Come! | Newborn Photography | Traci Shupert Photography"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Friday afternoon, I got to spend time with one of my coworkers, her husband, and their new little son.\u00a0 I really shouldn&#8217;t have been able to take photos of the baby on Friday because he is still supposed to be in his mommy&#8217;s belly.\u00a0 He decided to come early, and now he has an amazing birth story&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"webDSC_0134edited\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tracishupertphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/webDSC_0134edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><br \/>\nFive weeks before his due date, his mom went to school just like any other day.  I visited her room right before lunch, and she had to take a moment to catch her breath because she <em>thought<\/em> she was having false contractions.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"webDSC_0189edited\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tracishupertphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/webDSC_0189edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><br \/>\nSeveral hours later, I heard sirens outside my window.  A teacher came to my door and told me what was going on.  Leah was in labor, and the school nurse had wisely decided to call for an ambulance because this baby was coming soon.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"webDSC_0174edited\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tracishupertphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/webDSC_0174edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><br \/>\nOur school is in a small town, and the EMT&#8217;s contacted the paramedics from the neighboring city just in case she would have the baby before they could get her to the hospital.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"webDSC_0248edited\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tracishupertphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/webDSC_0248edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><br \/>\nOnce the paramedics arrived, they swapped ambulances and jetted to the hospital.  Leah knew that this baby was coming, and there was nothing they could do to stop him.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"webDSC_0204edited\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tracishupertphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/webDSC_0204edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><br \/>\nThe little guy arrived into this world in the ambulance weighing in around 5 pounds.  Not too small for 5 weeks early.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"webDSC_0323edited\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tracishupertphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/webDSC_0323edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><br \/>\nOne week before the events of his birth day, a kindergartner\u00a0 asked Leah if she was going to have the baby at school.
