Inspire Me Baby | Traci Shupert Photography

Today is an awesome day!  Here’s why:  About a month ago, I came across the website Inspire Me Baby.  As I was reading and looking through the posts, I thought, Hey, I think I’m going to submit some of the photos from my creative session earlier this summer. So, that’s what I did.

I checked my email over lunch today, and I shrieked (hopefully I didn’t scare anyone) as I read my email.  My session was chosen to be featured on Inspire Me Baby’s website!  Head on over and check it out, along with all the other eye candy.

Trisha - Very cool Traci! You have a great talent :)

Carrie Nadziejko - Hey! That’s awesome, Traci! Well deserved, it was a beautiful series of photographs!

Joan Beachy - So proud of you Traci! This is awesome!

We Meet Again | Goshen Baby Photographer

I’d like to welcome this little dude back to the blog.  He made his first appearance as a newborn, and again at 3 months.  We met up again on Monday to document him at 6 months.  I think he gets cuter every time!  I can’t wait to see how cute he his at one year!  He didn’t have a very long nap prior to the session, so he was a tad bit tired.  But we worked it!  We had to laugh at the crazy loud laugh/cries that were coming from this little guy.  At the end of the session, he fell asleep in his daddy’s arms.  Next up, 9 months.

If 3 months x 10 = 30 comments, then a free 5×7 will be given to this little dude! :)

Sizzling | Northridge Senior Photographer

Sizzling describes the conditions of this session to a T.  I don’t know if I’ve sweat or been so hot on a session before (I was literally a hot mess), but I knew it would be worth it.  This senior, on the other hand, remained looking gorgeous throughout the session.  She is a senior at Northridge High School where she plays soccer and tennis, so she is used to heat.  We met this summer when I took her headshot for the Junior Miss Pageant, and I was super excited when her mom called me to schedule her senior session!  We did part of her session at the beach, and second half will take place this fall.  So, you’ll get to see her big blues again in a few months.

I’m in love with this floral tank! The texture and flowers were perfect!I {HEART} this next photo.

Fabulous | Elkhart Senior Photographer

Senior girls are so much fun, and this beauty was absolutely fabulous to photograph!

I’m mildly obsessed with her owl necklace in these photos. If you haven’t noticed, owls are all rage in accessories and home decor right now. So, of course I asked her where she got her necklace. I was so surprised when she told me it was her great-grandmother’s. How awesome is that?  If I would have used one of my great-grandmothers accessories for my senior photographs, I would have been wearing an Amish bonnet.  Ha!  I think the owl beats my bonnet hands down!
If I had to choose favorites, I think it would be these next few. I love how all the colors work together, the glasses, just everything.
30 comments gets this fabulous senior a free 5×7!

Sheila - She is such a pretty girl! With a very proud father :) These pictures turned out wonderfully!

Glen Brookshire - Thank you for the beautiful photographs. WOW is right

Camille Brookshire - Since I am a grandmother of this beautiful person I like them all, but especially the one on the right of the first two shown in pink and the third pose in yellow ..the larger one by itself with the concrete on the left and the spots of yellow flowers and green on the right…with one earring showing. Maybe some of the concrete and a little of green could be cropped so Melanie could be larger. I like the grey and green back ground. Very good work photographer.

Chanelle - Love the pictures!

Nicole B - Love the outfits, they are beautiful. But not nearly as stunning as the lovely girl they are on!

CHERYL COOK - These pictures are so BEAUTIFUL!
I love how not all backgrounds are perfect looking. The tough street one is really cool!
Must be a cool (and SMART) girl …. like her parents!

Renee Brookshire - Wow, These pictures are terrific. Renee

Country Cousins | Goshen Child Photographer

When I typed the title, I had to laugh.  Do you remember those Country Cousins figurines from the 80′s?  I wonder if they’ll make a comeback too just like fluorescent colors and jelly bracelets have.  Anyways, on to the photos.  I met up with these cousins in a country park.  The older kids were great helpers (and they just happen to be students at my school).  They took turns manning the reflector.  The oldest three are siblings, as are the youngest two.  Their mom’s are sisters, which is how they are cousins.  And to get even more confusing, the father of the youngest two is my cousin.  That’s what we around these parts call the Mennonite Game.  Don’t ask.  I’ll stop rambling and let the photos do the rest of the talking…

My cousin (the father of the youngest two) is a math teacher, so here’s an equation for you.

Question:  30c = 5×7

.

Answer:  30 comments = A free 5×7 for these two families

Catherine - Love that Mennonite game — could pick that youngest one out anywhere!

Family Tractors | Traci Shupert Photography

This couple just celebrated their anniversary recently, and their daughter organized some family photos.  They’re retired from farming, but they’ve kept some of their prized tractors.  Their children and children will be inheriting them someday.  They even have nameplates for each tractor.  How cool is that?  The truck in this first photo was their dad’s truck back in the day.  One of the brother’s had it restored.  Isn’t it awesome?!

Here’s the line-up of all their tractors, small to big.
