10 Days New :: Mishawaka Newborn Photographer

Another sweet baby boy came to the studio last week for his newborn session. At 10 days old, he was already a big guy at over 9 pounds. He was (what I’ve coined) a “wrapper”. He loved being all wrapped up and snug as a bug. And that works for me!

Big brother was such a trooper hanging out during the session, and we were able to capture a few of them together at the end. I just love big brother’s red hair!

Great Expectations :: Indiana Maternity Photographer

I met this beautiful expecting mother at a photog get together about 2 years ago in Indianapolis. So when she contacted me for maternity and newborn photos, I was all in!  It was an extremely frigid day, so luckily we were able to seek shelter in the downtown library that is filled with beautiful light.


In about one month, they’ll be meeting their little guy. Looking forward to his newborn session too!

Saturday, I was visited by this happy little 4 month old. I first met him in September at his newborn session, and I’ve also been photographing his brother for the past 3 years. I’m so blessed to have clients return each year and choose little ‘ol me to photograph the ones they love!

Love this little tie onsie that his mom purchased at a local boutique. So simple, yet so sweet!
And the puppy hat! Get out! Perfect on this blue eyed baby.

14 Days New :: Goshen Newborn Photographer

This sweet little 14 day old visited me last Sunday. I’ve had so much fun using my in-home studio with these most precious little lives. I’ve learned to be very flexible and patient as I quickly figure out what a newborn does and does not like. She was most content being wrapped up tight, so that’s what we did for most of her session.

Her mom knit this adorable cocoon for her, and I was more than happy to work it in! She found the pattern on Pinterest. I {heart} Pinterest, and I’d love for you to follow me!  You’ll find ideas for What to Wear and how to display the portraits from your session on the walls of your home.

A Very, Little One | Goshen Newborn Photographer

This was one of the little babes I’ve photographed in a while. He may have been little, but he was a strong. He enjoyed being wrapped up tight, so wrapped up he was.  Love his sweet, folded hands in this first image.

This was the first session that I got to take my new-to-me macro lens for a spin. It had me at hello.
In the end, he was content without all the wrappings. A big thanks to his parents for coming over on a weekday evening to let me spend time photographing their new love.
